FLINT (Feb. 21, 2012) – On Monday, March 26th, Genesee Health Plan will celebrate 10 years of service to the residents of Genesee County. As part of the celebration, GHP be honoring those who have contributed to the success of Genesee Health Plan with the first annual Health Care Hall of Fame Award Ceremony
Launched in 2001, Genesee Health Plan provides basic health services to about 25,000 adults in Genesee County who don’t have health insurance. Services provided include doctor visits, lab tests, X-rays and basic prescriptions. Genesee Health Plan is the only local health plan in Michigan that is funded directly by the community through a special millage.
